I had some left-over ingredients from yesterday's rice meatballs. So I made some more rice meatballs today, and by the way made some bread. I don't like to stay in the kitchen but sometimes I like to cook something for a change. I consider myself efficient in food making today. After photo-taking, the food will go in the refrigerator and wait for their call.
今天又做了汤圆,没办法,昨天的料剩了很多,不能浪费,只好继续包完。既然不能做其他事,就顺便讓面包机揉面粉,做一些面包。
我曾经想过,我是喜欢做菜的人吗?NO, No, No! Not at all. 我做面包是因为外面的面包吃了会胀气;做汤圆是因为大陆没有鹹汤圆;包粽子是不想吃到味精太多或不新鲜的黑心粽;平日做菜呢,是懒得出门浪费时间,也不想吃错餐厅肚子痛。
年節時,我會嘗試做傳統菜,因為希望下一代能記得吃方面的傳統習俗。
有时候,我也会心血来潮,做点新东西吃吃,像Pizza、Cookies、麻薯、或红豆蛋黄酥,没有壓力下做菜是一件幸福的事。
