My old friends- lost and found

我和我的朋友就是这樣，很熟，但很少联络。
搬了好几次家，还来不及通知早期的朋友，又搬到大陆来，朋友之间本来就不常联络，通讯録簿總是在混乱的搬家过程中迷失好一阵子，又翻箱倒櫃地找回来。

My relationship with all my friends is very much like "lost and found".

It has been 2 years I haven't contacted Ann and George. This morning I wrote them a message through e-mail but the it was returned. This worried me a lot, so I checked the world clock and called Ann right away. To my relief, I heard a familiar voice from Ann. We talked a while and we exchanged our new e-mail addresses. My old friends should be around age 90s now. I am glad they still sound happy and healthy.

Ann and George had been my best neighbors when I was in SIU. Ann even typed one of my term papers for me once when the school computer shut down and I got no place to do it. They took me places sometimes. I used to appear at their door unexpectedly to join them for a free lunch. It has been a long time. There is so much to catch up ...
